Jeep Badge of Honor – Hallfrisch/Walker Trail
Take on one of Drummond Island’s premier off-road trails and earn your official Jeep Badge of Honor! This rugged trail honors local off-road legends and offers a true wilderness experience.
Key Details
Terrain: Dense forest, mud bogs, deep ruts, and rocky sections
Difficulty: Challenging areas may require 4-low, lockers, or recovery gear
Requirements: Michigan ORV license and trail permit required
Badge App: Check in using the Badge of Honor app—or take photos to submit later if cell service is unavailable
Tips: Prepare for deep-water crossings

All photo submissions must be entered by Wednesday, May 13th at 11:59 PM following the event.
Winners will be announced on our social media pages on May 18th.
Photo Permissions & Credits
By submitting photos, participants grant the Drummond Island Tourism Association (DITA) permission to use submitted images for marketing, promotional materials, website content, and social media.
Photographers will be credited based on submission preferences whenever possible.

Join us for a laid-back evening of Jeeps, community, and island fun during Jeep the Mac to Drummond Island!
Bring your Jeep to the Visitor Center for our casual Show N’ Shine where fellow Jeepers and visitors can check out builds, swap trail stories, and enjoy the atmosphere. Whether your Jeep is trail-ready, freshly cleaned, or covered in mud from the day’s adventures — we want to see it!
People’s Choice Voting
Guests will vote for their favorite Jeep of the night for a fun People’s Choice winner.
Social Media Spotlight
Photos from the event will be featured on social media, giving participants a chance to show off their rigs and help spread the word about all the fun happening on the island.

Shannon is an expert trail guide providing detailed mapping for the OnX Offroad App. His 2022 EcoDiesel Jeep Gladiator—part of the OnX fleet—will be set up at the Drummond Island Tourism Association parking lot.
