Party Like It’s 1776! 🇺🇸

Join us for the 18th Annual Drummond Island Fall on the Island Festival, happening October 9–10, 2026, on beautiful Drummond Island, Michigan!

This year’s theme, “Party Like It’s 1776!”, brings together fall fun, live music, delicious food, family activities, local vendors, entertainment, and plenty of patriotic spirit for a weekend the whole family can enjoy.

Friday, October 9 • 5 PM–10 PM

Kick off the weekend with an evening full of music, laughter, food, and fun!

•  Dueling Pianos with Frank McGlynn — Sing along and dance to your favorite classics.
•  Comedy Show with Tim “Buds” Ellison — Stick around after the dueling pianos for an evening of laughs.
•  Johnny’s BBQ — Enjoy delicious BBQ favorites, including brisket sliders and brisket sausage gumbo.
•  Fall Festival Golf Outing — The outing begins at 1 PM at the Drummond Island Township Golf Course.

Saturday, October 10 • 11 AM–5 PM

Saturday is packed with activities and entertainment for all ages!

 

Lions Pancake Breakfast
Enjoy breakfast at the Township Hall from 8–11 AM.

Join the Drummond Island Lions Club for all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, and biscuits & gravy.

Lily’s Microbrew Tasting
Enjoy a popular microbrew tasting hosted by Lily’s Seafood Grille & Brewery of Royal Oak. Tasting tickets are required.

• Oktoberfest
  • This smooth German-style lager features wonderful, toasted malt flavors.  It’s brewed with Pilsner, Munich, and Vienna malt. Complemented by German Hallertau hops.  ABV- 6.4%
• Whitefish Bay Wheat 
  • This Belgian-style farmhouse ale is dry, crisp, and refreshing with soft and simple malt presence.  Belgian yeast fermented at high temperatures imparts wonderfully fruity flavors, and German noble hops lend subtle floral notes.     ABV- 5.2%
• Big Shoal Bay IPA 
  • Brewed with Pale, Caramel & Munich malts. Generously hopped with Falconers Flight and Citra hops for flavor and aroma, as well as high-alpha Chinook for clean and balanced bitterness.  ABV – 7.6%
• Sturgeon Bay Stout 
  • A black beer brewed in the porter style with rich, roasted and chocolate malt flavors. Willamette hops balance the flavor of this full-bodied ale.  ABV – 6% 
• Bruce Point Bitter 
  • An English-style ESB or Extra Special Bitter.  This pale ale should be thought of more as balanced rather than bitter, as its name indicates.  Maris Otter malt from the UK provides a smooth, non-cloying malt background reminiscent of toasted bread.  ABV – 6.2%
• Ledges Light Lager 
  • A clean, light American lager with mild and refreshing hop flavor.  Brewed with simple 2-row malted barley and small additions of Centennial hops grown in the USA.  ABV – 4%

Browse one-of-a-kind treasures, fine art, handcrafted creations, and unique goods from artisans across Michigan. Over 30 Vendors!!

1776-Themed Party & Live Music
Enjoy live entertainment throughout the day, including Shipheads On Shore Band, Almost Elvis, The Morton Brothers, and DJ Ron Fray.

Juggling
Be entertained by Chet Mitchell with juggling for all ages.

Family Fun
Enjoy face painting, a bouncy house, pumpkin painting, and more!

Cornhole Mini Tournaments
Compete in one-hour, two-person tournaments throughout the day for cash prizes!

Pub Crawl • Saturday, 5 PM–Midnight
